Recently large volumes of Chinese Bluestone have been imported into Victoria by other suppliers, from another area in China and this Bluestone has failed to perform well (comes away from the mortar it has been laid into), however the stone looks attractive in a showroom environment and is cheaper in price. This type of Bluestone is also sold as premium grade, however it is clearly not the case. So buying Bluestone from a trusted and knowledgeable supplier is important.
