1. Gold Standard Bluestone
This represents the highest grade of stone available, it also features superior aesthetic qualities. The bluestone has a “400 grit” hone, which deepens the colour and highlights the natural character of the stone. The cats paw (small holes) are distributed evenly and adds a natural beauty to the stone. This type of bluestone has less mineral content than silver or bronze standard.
2. Silver Standard Bluestone
This represents our budget grade of stone without loss of the inherent quality and beauty of bluestone. It features bluestone with a “400 grit” hone, which highlights the natural character of the stone. This bluestone is more grey in colour compared to our gold standard bluestone. The cats paw (small holes) are distributed evenly and adds a natural beauty to the stone.
3. Bronze Standard Bluestone
This represents a budget grade of bluestone. The character and colour of the stone is more varied and is usually a more grey colour. Typically the cats paw is more varied and the stone can have a higher mineral content resulting in natural colour changes over time when compared to the gold and silver standard.
